The Vols in the NFL family is growing. Tuesday was final cut day as teams have to be at their 53 man roster to start the year. The Detroit Lions released quarterback Nate Sudfeld which paved the way for Hendon Hooker to be the back up to Jared Goff in the motor city. Hooker played well in his final two preseason games going 24-35 for 264 a touchdown and an interception. He also rushed for 93 yards in the Lions final pre-season game against the Steelers.
