Multiple EU countries, including Germany, are pushing for the European Union to classify the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization on the basis of a German court ruling, diplomats told dpa on Monday. Germany, among others, have asked EU legal officials to examine a Dusseldorf court ruling that found an Iranian state agency was responsible for an attempted arson attack on a synagogue.
