Jurgen Klopp has praised Cody Gakpo for the amount of football the Liverpool forward have played in recent days after last night’s clash against Southampton. The 24-year-old winger started both the League Cup against Chelsea as well as yesterday’s FA Cup tie at Anfield, with Gakpo leading the line as Liverpool remain light in the attack. Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah remain out on the treatment table, with Gakpo last night being joined by academy star Lewis Koumas and Harvey Elliott in the front three.
