An evening of glitz and glamour has helped raise thousands of pounds for two Newark-based charities. The Newark Emmaus Trust and the Children’s Bereavement Centre teamed up to host their third annual, joint fundraising event, which was ‘Masquerade Ball’ held at Newark Showground. The event was attended by 200 guests donning creative and colourful masks, who danced the night away and helped to raise £15,045, which will be shared equally between the two charities.
