Sheffield Wednesday are close to completing a move to sign a striker that was recently the subject of an approach from Leeds United, with talks ongoing for a loan-to-buy deal. Wednesday survived relegation back to League One at the first attempt last season largely thanks to the work of German manager Danny Rohl, who has since impressed as a pundit at Euro 2024 with ITV Sport.
