A man whose job was to crack secret codes in the battle to defeat the Japanese during the Second World War joined fellow veterans to celebrate his 98th birthday. Members of Bishop’s Stortford’s Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club (AFVBC) hosted a special meeting at The Port Jackson in Riverside Wharf on Sunday July 21 to mark the occasion.
