Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has for the first time confirmed a weapons delivery to the Houthi rebels in Yemen. The Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday that delivery involved a Ghadr naval ballistic missile. The IRGC says it has a range of 2000 kilometres, and will present Iran’s arch-enemies, the US and Israel, with new challenges in the region.
