In Denmark, a man who allegedly raped and killed a 17-year-old girl more than seven years ago has been sentenced to life imprisonment. The 33-year-old was found guilty of murder as well as serious sexual offences against two other teenage girls in the case, the court in the town of Næstved to the south-west of Copenhagen announced on Friday. An appeal will be lodged against the judgement, it said.
