He announced the commitment to On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Thursday night and has two years of eligibility remaining. Jackson’s commitment to Alabama comes just four days before the program will take on Michigan in the Rose Bowl. He spent two seasons at USC and compiled 34 total tackles (27 solo) and four passes defended. 32 of those tackles and three of his four passes defended came this season since he got more playing time.
