A main route will be closed for around a week due to emergency works. Part of Woodlands Road, in Gillingham, is shut to allow energy company UK Power Networks’ engineers to work in the area. Medway Council said the road closure is in place from today (May 29) and is due to “emergency works”. It is expected to be sealed off until Tuesday, June 4, and delays are likely.
