US software developer Salesforce.com posted second-quarter earnings on Wednesday that grew from last year and outperformed analysts’ expectations. The company reported a bottom line of $1.429 billion, or $1.47 per share, compared to $1.267 billion, or $1.28 per share, in the second quarter of the previous year. After excluding items, Salesforce.com reported adjusted earnings of $2.495 billion or $2.56 per share for the period.
