Tunisian authorities are questioning a suspect in a weekend arson attack in the courtyard of a synagogue, a judicial official said on Thursday. On Sunday, a fire broke out in the garden of a deserted synagogue in Tunisias coastal city of Sfax. The blaze destroyed 11 palm trees and a lawn, but the building itself did not catch fire thanks to fire extinguishing efforts, the civil defence service said.
