A picturesque Nottinghamshire village has been taken over by a large film production. The grade-two listed Flintham Hall estate and gardens is currently being used as the location of a new feature film believed to be a period drama, although details about the story are not yet known. Filming was scheduled to start last summer, however, the American writers and actors strikes led to delays. The production company, Hedda Leo Ltd, later filed for a 15 week extension with Rushcliffe Borough Council which was granted, with filming now taking place.
