Explosions have been heard as a bomb squad continues to deal with a suspcious package on a residential street. Nottinghamshire Police confirmed it was dealing with a “suspicious package” on Park Road in Lenton. Officers were initially alerted of an incident earlier today at around 2pm. Bystanders assembled outside the nearby Tesco Express screamed as explosions went off. Police proceeded to evacuate residents from the surrounding area.
