German mechanical engineering company MAN Energy Solutions will provide Finland with the “world’s largest air-to-water heat pump” for district heating in Helsinki, the company announced on Wednesday. Finnish energy company Helen Oy commissioned the pump to supply around 30,000 households with district heating and save 26,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year, MAN said in a press release.
