An Israeli missile attack took place late Wednesday on pro-Iranian militia bases south of the Syrian capital Damascus, a monitoring organization has said. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in the 17th attack on Syria since the beginning of the year, Israel bombed two sites of the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah and Iranian militias in the area of Sayyidah Zaynab and Basatin, in the countryside of Damascus.
