German police recorded a major increase in anti-Semitic offences since the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7. In connection with the Middle East conflict alone, more than 1,100 offences were registered up to December 21 on the criminal police reporting service for politically motivated crimes, a spokesman for the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) told dpa.
