Students of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, on Thursday, staged peaceful protest to demand the conduct of students’ union election. The gate of the school’s permanent site was closed, denying staff and students access. The protesting students demanded for students’ election before matriculation. They also demanded that hostel fees should be optional and not mandatory, reduction of school fees, and kicked against chest x-ray, high cost of textbooks and sexual harassment.
