World No. 1 wheelchair tennis player Tokito Oda won his second consecutive Japan Open title Sunday. The 18-year-old Paralympic gold medalist defeated bronze medalist Gustavo Fernandez of Argentina 6-3, 6-4 at Ariake Tennis Forest Park. Oda won all three of his matches in straight sets this week. “I got to see the scenery I’ve wanted to see,” Oda said of the large crowd on hand for the final. “I enjoyed that in Paris, but proved I can attract this many fans in Japan.
