Three Counties Running Club were lucky enough to have eight members running in the London Marathon. Simon Killen, Gary Ingrey, Kim Coultard and Keith White all managed to gain places through the ballot while Vicki Newton was chosen for the allocated club place. Charity places were given to Lauren Day, running for Whizz Kids, Sally Fawkes, for the British Heart Foundation, and Sarah-Jane Macdonald, for the Royal National Institute of Blind People.
