Sawbridgeworth residents are urging their county councillor to speak to a neighbouring highways authority over the “ridiculous” phasing of temporary traffic signals which are causing long queues in the town. Drivers are suffering delays of up to 50 minutes to get from Sawbridgeworth to Harlow due to the signals near the Harlow Mill Beefeater restaurant at the junction of the A1184 Harlow Road and Old Road.
