SMU star running back Brashard Smith exited the FSU game in the 2nd quarter of Saturday’s matchup in Ford Stadium. The former Miami transfer had eight carries for 40 yards and a touchdown when he left the game. UPDATE: Smith returned to the game on the final drive of the 1st half for SMU. He had one carry for five yards on that run. He was tackled on a routine run then popped up and was grabbing at his shoulder area.
