Guwahati (Assam) [India], August 29 (ANI): Following Himanta Biswa Sarma’s “Miya Muslim” remarks, the Congress-led United Opposition Forum in Assam has lodged an FIR against Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma alleging he was “trying to promote enmity between different groups on the ground of religion and race.” The FIR was lodged on Wednesday at Dispur Police Station in Guwahati.
