Motorola has recently launched the Motorola Edge 50 Neo smartphone with a 1.5K P-OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity processor, and a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is said that the same device as the Moto S50 will be launched in China. The S50 smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench, where some of its key specifications have been revealed.


According to Geekbench, the Moto S50, identified by the model number XT2409-5, has a Dimensity 7300 processor, the same one used in the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. It has a peak clock speed of 2.50 GHz with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU and 12 GB of RAM.

Recently, information about other specifications of the device has emerged, which showed that it will be equipped with a 6.36-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for HDR10+.

The Dimensity 7300 chipset will reportedly be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The device may include a 4400 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.

The rear camera may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

Additional features may include a fingerprint sensor under the display and IP68 water and dust protection.
