The doors to Historic Memorial Coliseum will open for the first time on Friday when Kentucky volleyball hosts its home opener against Northern Kentucky. It’s the first of four soft openings following the venue’s $82 million renovations, ongoing since March 2023 and set to wrap up in spring 2025. Those are just for the finishing touches, though.
