Speeding motorists were among the Newark area cases at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court recently. Paul Ansell Briggs, 54, of Ambleside, Ollerton had his case reopened on May 15. He pleaded guilty to driving a Subaru at 42mph on a 30mph road, Tuxford Road, Boughton. The offence occurred on September 15, 2023. Briggs was fined £266 and ordered to pay costs of £196. Roy Khera, 63, of Willow Wong, Burton Joyce, pleaded guilty to driving at 69mph on a 40mph road.
