Shaun Balfe took a break from his McLaren British GT campaign to race his Lotus Cortina and Lotus Elan at the annual Silverstone Classic weekend. After qualifying on Friday, the Fulbeck racer was joined by son Tom for the Historic Touring Car Challenge in their Cortina. Shaun was out first with the race re-started under caution due to heavy rain, lying third in class and chasing Jonathan Mitchell’s similar car.
