Germany’s Alexander Zverev is out of the Olympics mixed doubles after he and team-mate Laura Siegemund were defeated in the first round at the Paris Games on Monday. The German duo was defeated 4-6, 5-7 by Czech Republic’s Katerina Siniakova and Tomas Machac. Zverev is aiming to defend his Tokyo 2020 gold in the men’s singles and will meet Machac again in the second round on Tuesday.
