German Paralympic champion Wojtek Czyz made New Zealand sporting history on Thursday at the Paris Paralympic Games. Czyz became New Zealand’s first ever Para badminton player when he took to the court. Czyz represented Germany at three Paralympic Games (2004, 2008 and 2012), winning seven medals in Para athletics as a sprinter and long jumper.
