The deputy speaker of Slovakia’s parliament said he will spend a day cleaning the streets as penance for fleeing the scene of a car crash. Andrej Danko, a nationalist politician and a candidate in the central European country’s March 23 presidential election, posted on Facebook that removing the dirt and debris from the roads was a way to make amends.
