Digitalization of reconstruction and partnership with American business are in focus. The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation met with the US delegation.
Productive meeting
Mykhailo Fedorov and Deputy Ministers Oleksandr Borniakov and Valeria Ionan met with U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink. The meeting was also attended by CEOs of three top U.S. corporations that provide digital solutions for the U.S. military and government:
- Robert Clarke, CEO of Clayco, one of the largest engineering and architectural contractors for the US Government.
- Patrick Fragman, CEO of Westinghouse – an American company specializing in energy.
- John Geller, CEO of Amentum, is one of the main consultants and contractors to the US Government and government agencies of other countries in the field of system modernization, implementation of analytical and data-based solutions.
Joint digitalization projects
The participants of the meeting discussed ideas for joint projects in the field of digitalization of Ukraine’s reconstruction and cooperation with American businesses in this area.
This includes, for example, the development of digital twins – digital copies of objects or processes that help optimize the efficiency of business processes. The technology can be used to create virtual models of the city and its infrastructure facilities. This will help improve planning, management, and reconstruction of roads, bridges, and other facilities.
The conversation also focused on critical infrastructure assessment, the use of artificial intelligence, and the rebuilding and modernization of schools.
