A motorist on a South Jersey highway struck a man and woman early Sunday morning, prompting a search for the vehicle after the driver failed to stop. The man and woman were crossing Route 38 in Cherry Hill around 12:21 a.m. Sunday when they were hit by a dark-colored pickup truck, police said Monday.
