A major crash Friday night has forced the closure of a portion of the White Horse Pike in Camden County, police said. The crash happened shortly before 6 p.m. near the Atco Motel in Waterford, according to a brief statement from the township’s police department. It was unclear how many cars were involved. A spokesperson for the department could not immediately be reached for comment. As of 6:30 p.m., detours were in place from Stevens Avenue to Garfield Avenue, police said.
