Heartland and Abia Warriors have selected the Enyimba International Stadium as their alternative home ground for the second half of the season. Both teams’ original home grounds, the Dan Anyiam Stadium and the Umuahia Township Stadium, were suspended by the Nigeria Premier Football League following their poor state of the playing surface. NPFL Chief Operating Officer Davidson Owumi announced this in a letter sent to the clubs. The two clubs, in separate responses, have now elected to play at the neighbouring Enyimba Stadium.
