Jason Arsenault, a 41-year-old resident of Westbrook, Maine, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to bank robbery after sending a bomb threat through a bank’s pneumatic tube. According to court records, on January 26, 2024, Arsenault approached the drive-through window of a South Portland bank wearing a disguise. He used the pneumatic tube to pass a threatening note to the teller, claiming there was a car bomb and demanding $50,000.
