LAKE WALES, Fla. \- A Lake Wales mother, Jykerria Allen, 29, is facing child neglect charges after leaving her 3-year-old unattended in a hot car for about an hour. On August 29th, Allen was told she couldn’t bring her child into the back office during her appointment at Central Florida Health Care. She falsely claimed she would have someone pick up the child, but instead left the toddler alone in the parked car.
