German automaker Opel sold significantly more cars and light commercial vehicles worldwide last year than in the previous year, according to sales figures released on Tuesday. Opel said that sales increased by 15% in 2023 to 670,000 vehicles worldwide. The results were the Rüsselsheim-based manufacturer’s strongest sales growth in more than two decades.
