ASUS today announced the ROG Strix XG27UCG, the first LCD monitor to feature dual-mode technology. This feature allows users to switch between a crisp 4K display with a refresh rate of 160 Hz for superior image quality and a 1080p display with a refresh rate of 320 Hz for smoother, faster gaming.

The 27-inch monitor features a Fast IPS panel that delivers vivid colors and crisp images with a 1ms GtG response time to minimize motion blur, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming.

The ROG Strix XG27UCG is equipped with USB-C with power supply, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1 connectors, allowing for easy connection to a variety of gaming systems. The built-in mobile phone holder provides additional convenience by keeping your phone within easy reach without cluttering up your desk space.

Pricing and availability details for ROG Strix XG27UCG have not yet been announced.

By the way, the brand has also recently released the ROG Strix XG27AQDMG monitor, which is the first gaming monitor with a glossy WOLED display. It offers vivid colors, sharper images, and deeper blacks. It features a 26.5-inch OLED panel with 2K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
