The Polish Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian embassy’s chargé d’affaires on Friday and handed him a note of protest calling on Russia to explain why a Russian missile had breached Polish airspace a day earlier. The note called on Russia to explain “the incident of violating Poland’s airspace by a cruise missile and urges Russia to immediately cease this kind of activity,” according to a ministry statement released in Warsaw.
