By Zahra Khaliq An elderly woman who was threatened with a £100 fine by the council for feeding birds in her garden has been told the amount has rocketed to £2,500. The dispute, which kicked off last year, saw 97-year-old Anne Saego threatened with a £100 fine after a neighbour complained she was attracting pigeons and seagulls to the area. The council issued a ‘written warning’ in November which stated Saego would have to pay £100 if the ‘anti-social behaviour’ doesn’t cease.
