The extent of the suspected links between employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip is greater than previously assumed, according to a US media report Monday. The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing intelligence reports, that around 10% of approximately 12,000 UNRWA aid workers employed in the Gaza Strip have links to Hamas or the Islamic Jihad.
