Srinagar: Vikar Rasool Wani, the former Jammu and Kashmir Congress president and current candidate from the Banihal constituency, has been sentenced to five months in prison along with five others. The sentencing comes from a case related to the 2012 Assembly elections, where a public meeting was held without proper authorization at the Junior High School in Mithepur village of Gulavathi.
