The first Newark Alliance Cup was played for and won this season by Newark Town Sunday FC after they defeated RHP Reserves 2-0 in the Keith Cartledge Memorial Trophy. Newark Town Sunday Reserves, formerly Curry’s FC defeated AFC Closterworth 4-1 to make it to the final against RHP Reserves. RHP Reserves had a slightly more difficult semi-final in the journey as they drew 2-2 against The Three Gables before defeating the side on penalties.
