The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, says N99.94 billion was received by 11 electricity Distribution Companies, DisCos, from customers as revenue from the N133.3 billion worth of electricity they consumed in November, 2023. NERC, in the factsheet it released on its official X account, stated that the average amount paid by Kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity consumed during the period was 36.71kWh from the average 59.89kWh approved for the DisCos to charge their customers.
