World record holder Summer McIntosh of Canada, 17, won gold in the women’s 400-metre medley at the Paris Games on Monday. McIntosh added gold to her 400m freestyle silver from Saturday with the best time of 4 minutes 27.71 seconds. She finished with an impressive advantage of 5.69 seconds over silver medallist Katie Grimes of the United States. Bronze also went to the US with Emma Weyant, who had silver in the event from Tokyo 2020.
