UConn has added a fourth commitment to its 2025 recruiting class as Australian guard Jacob Furphy announced his pledge to the Huskies on Tuesday. The 6-foot-6 wing out of NBA Global Academy visited both UConn and Illinois in September, but elected to join Dan Hurley and Co. in Storrs. Furphy was on the Australia team that won the FIBA U18 Asian Cup this fall. He averaged 16.8 points, 4.2 assists and 2.3 rebounds in the event while also shooting 13-28 from behind the arc.
