A 13-year-old Palestinian boy was killed and another boy seriously injured in an Israel military operation in Qabatiya in the north of the West Bank early on Saturday, hospital doctors in the nearby city of Jenin reported. Eyewitnesses in Qabatiya, which lies some 5 kilometres south of Jenin, reported that Israeli troops had raided the town, positioning snipers on roofs and searching a number of houses.
