Scientists have found a deep cave on the Moon that they believe could be an excellent shelter for astronauts. This newly-discovered cave or tunnel is at least 45 meters wide and between 30 and 80 meters long. Researchers think this might be just the beginning of a longer lava-formed tunnel, with more caves likely to be found.
