Newbury Town Council is inviting residents to lay summer posies at Newbury War Memorial in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Residents are welcome to place their posies at War Memorial, in Bartholomew Street, from June 5 in a display of community reflection and solidarity. And the Town Council is also supporting the events taking place at Greenham Control Tower.
