A driver stopped by police because of two flat tyres on his Volkswagen car was found to have cannabis on him. Rudolfs Simkuns, 21, of Tinkers Drove, Wisbech, pleaded guilty to possession of 1.25g of cannabis resin when he appeared before King’s Lynn magistrates’ court on Thursday. Abdul Khan, prosecuting via video link, said police had stopped a VW Golf on Nar Ouse Way in King’s Lynn on May 17 after officers noticed both the nearside tyres were deflated. When they spoke to the driver, Simkuns, they spotted a canister normally associated with nitrous oxide in the footwell on the driver’s side. …
